Bernice reached out as she was opening a brand-new children’s day nursery and wanted to bring her vision to life through a soft, Scandinavian-inspired brand identity. Rooted in muted tones, minimalism and that gentle magic of childhood imagination, the brand needed to feel warm, dreamy and timeless. We created a full visual identity grounded in the concept of “daydreaming” – featuring playful hot air balloons, floating clouds, rainbows and stars. The illustrations were designed to be versatile and whimsical, perfect for both digital and print, from social media to signage, uniforms and marketing materials. The result is a brand that feels like a gentle exhale – calm, creative, and full of wonder.

Brand Goal

To create a soft, whimsical and imaginative brand identity that reflects the gentle spirit of Scandinavian childhood play and supports Daydreams in becoming a nurturing, standout nursery.

Design Notes

A delicate palette of muted tones paired with hand-drawn illustrations for a sense of calm and creativity. The brand weaves Scandinavian simplicity with magical childhood motifs like clouds, rainbows, and stars to create a visual world that’s both comforting and imaginative.
